Score :

14-18 - Hoon hater. There is nothing more that you hate than hoons, and you enjoy watching the news and seeing a hoon get done hard, yelling 'serves you right you bastard' at the TV. Your road etiquette is unparalleled, and your known amongst your mates as being a bit of a grandpa driver. You only ever lost one point and that was for doing 64km/h in a 60 zone.

19-28 - Sensible driver. You drive around with respect for the road and other road users. You have never had someone grab the door handle or pop their feet on the floor as you brake or come into a corner. You do not entertain hoons on the road but have had the odd minor speeding infringement

29- 38 Average. You cop the odd speeding fine, You've never lost your licence before but and you do give the car a good tap here and there. You dont engage in any street racing however have been known to enjoy a bit of 'traffic light grand prix'. You enjoy spirited driving but take it out on the track generally.

39 - 48 - Petrol head. You enjoy your cars, and enjoy thrashing them and showing off. You dont take any shit on the road. You cop your more than average amount of infringement notices and are well and truly used to the cop disco lights behind you to a point where your relaxed with them. You've lost your licence at least once and if you haven't been to court yet you no doubtedly will in the future. You seem to be constantly getting high beamed and yelled at.

49 -56 - Confirmed hoon. You are an outright hoon with no respect for any other road users. Its only a matter of time until you make your claim to fame on channel 9 news. You enjoy bragging about your hoon stories to others and whenever work colleagues hear something on the radio they automatically call you and ask if it was you. Your mother refuses to get into the car with you, and will not give you any more of her points in the hope that you lose your licence. Your insurance is something that increases every year and your car has been impounded before. You have several assault charges against you already.

One of the first Bugatti Veyron crash, wreck, write off

We’ve had plenty of smashed Ferrari Enzos but this is the first on records people have come across images of a wrecked Bugatti Veyron. It’s thought that a pool of water on the road caused the supercar to lose traction and then spin out of control, sending it head first into a ditch. Most of the cabin section and engine compartment look relatively un harmed, however, it’s hard to determine what internal damage to the front end there is if any.
This is the first time a private customer has actually crashed a Veyron. Engineers reportedly wrecked two prototype examples during testing, which was part of the reason for the long delays during the vehicle’s development.

Civic Type R coming to australia

Better start saving lads!
Honda to Bring Civic Type R Down Under

Honda Australia has announced at the Melbourne Motor Show that the high-revving Civic Type R hot hatch will be sold in Australia from the middle of this year.

The “Red-H”-badged three-door hatchback has a 2.0-litre i-VTEC engine with a peak output of 148kW at a dizzying 7800 rpm paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Completing the package, 18-inch alloy wheels ride on low profile “licorice strap” 225/40 tyres.

In keeping with the "Raw-fined" motto of the designers, the Civic Type R matches its blistering on-street credentials with a host of luxury and safety features normally seen in sensible sedans.

Honda Australia Managing Director Toshio Iwamoto said "It is wonderful to bring such a sought after and sporty car to Australia."

"I'm sure all motoring enthusiasts will be impressed with the performance, handling and luxury of the Civic Type R."

"It's the hottest Civic we have ever launched here."

Built at Honda's Swindon plant in Wiltshire, the Civic Type R is a cult car in the UK, with its massive popularity ensuring over 500 customer orders – or 10% of the entire year's sales run – before the official British launch date of March 1st.

Price, full specifications and further details of the Australian version of the Civic Type R will be released closer to the on-sale date.

For Sale signs on cars = a street code for drag-racing

For Sale signs on cars = a street code for drag-racing
I lol'd

Quote:
HOONS and drag-racers will be stopped in their tracks with the introduction of new wheel clamping laws and on-the-spot licence penalties.

Speaking from the Hunter Valley, NSW Premier Morris Iemma yesterday said his government was “clamping down” on anti-social street behaviour - and warned his anti-crime radar wasn’t restricted to drivers.

If re-elected, the Iemma Government will also look to outlaw “for sale” advertising on cars, toughen anti-graffiti laws and trial new court orders restricting the behaviour and movements of juvenile offenders.

His clampdown was announced just hours after idiots on quad bikes mowed down a teenaged girl, leaving her seriously injured - then sped off without stopping. Read more here.

We asked to know how hoons plague your neighbourhood and what you think of this plan - scores of you responded via the feedback form below.

Surrounded by impounded vehicles at a police holding yard in Newcastle, Mr Iemma said his new wheel-clamping laws would take the fight against car hoons to a new level.

“This will literally stop car hoons in their tracks," Mr Iemma said.

“There’s nothing more annoying for local communities than having super-powered cars with booming sound systems racing down local streets at all hours of the night.”

In addition, Mr Iemma said he would investigate outlawing the practice of “for sale” signs on vehicles, for fear it was street code for drag-racing.

Anecdotal evidence linked for sale advertising on cars with those involved in drag racing, and Mr Iemma said this would be investigated further with the possibility of banning the advertising.

Under the new laws, police would have the power to clamp wheels in the driveway of the owner’s home, with the cost of transporting it to the house and the clamping at the owners expense.

A new initiative to toughen anti-graffiti laws and make parents accountable for their child’s behaviour, would protect hard working families of NSW, Mr Iemma said.

A great honda Prelude 4th gen show car

Up for sale is a project I have been working on for five years. It started out as a 1993 Honda Prelude that was lightly wrecked in the front. We decided to transform the vehicle into a show winner demo vehicle (demo for Lite Glow, Digital Audio Inc, MPRD, Meguiar's, Tenzo-R and such). It was originally a Si 4WS (4 wheel steering, yes the rear wheels DO turn slightly for better handling and turns!) but with swapped out the original H23 (2.3L DOHC NON-VTEC) to a JDM H22a (2.2L DOHC VTEC).

Some of the major modifications are: JDM H22a engine swap (performed around 95,000 miles), custom turbo kit (developed and installed by MPRD in Las Vegas, NV), full custom widebody (fenders, doors, quarter panels) with custom fitted C-West Integra Type-R body kit, Mercedes CLK taillamps, JDM black housing headlamps with retrofitted Hella 90mm Bi-Xenon projectors, custom paint job (the pearl changes several different colors depending on lighting and angle, has to be seen in person!), full audio and video setup (all in custom fiberglass enclosures), neon and strobe lights found throughout the vehicle. All modifications are listed below.

Since the vehicle became a show/demo vehicle in 1999, the car has not been driven more than 3,000 miles and all within Las Vegas. The turbo setup barely has 1500 miles on it. It is currently boosting about 6-7 PSI because the block is still stock. It could easily be built and the setup is designed for high boost. This vehicle has never been shown anywhere besides Las Vegas so it could easily be an opportunity for you to show-off in your area! All sponsorships have ended; however, I will be happy to give you sample of my sponsorship proposals that I've used to earn company's trust and products. The vehicle has NEVER had any web or magazine features, an opportunity you can easily take advantage of! I'm too tired to work on little details and push for a photo shoot.

The vehicle has a Nevada Rebuilt title. Everything works perfectly and the car is easily drivable. It has ALWAYS been garage kept and under a car cover. The vehicle has represented Digital Audio Inc and Lite Glow @ CES and SEMA for several years in the row. It has won numerous awards, there has NOT been one show that we attended and did not walk away with a best of show trophy. Details are listed below. There are several cracks on the fiberglass but are hardly noticeable and is expected from a custom widebody and transformation. You will not see anything like this any where in the world!

The vehicle is located in Las Vegas, NV and appointments can be made to see the vehicle in person! Please serious bidders only! There is NO RESERVE! I've spent tens of thousands on the vehicle and want only a fraction of the cost spent! A deposit of $500 is required within 48 hours of the end of auction. If you do not fulfill this requirement I will cancel this transaction as it demonstrates that you are not a serious buyer. If you make an offer that is fair, I am willing to end the auction. This means that if a local buyer decides to purchase this car I reserve the right to pull this auction at any time. So if you want this car let me know. If you have any question you can email me directly at nguyenjv@gmail.com or use the eBay contact method.

BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS AND COST! (I am willing to help out as much as I can).

The vehicle is being SOLD AS IS, NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER!
