Lambo Reventon - F22 on wheels

Lambo Reventon - F22 on wheels?
FRANKFURT — We shouldn’t be surprised that Lamborghini’s new ultra-elite supercar shares its name with a bull—this one famous for the 1943 death of legendary matador Felix Guzman in Mexico. Despite its bloody inspiration, every 2008 Reventon has already sold out—to 20 millionaires who wish they could fly F22 Raptor fighter jets. That’s where much of the inspiration came from, according to Lamborghini. Indeed, the unbelievably angular shape looks more like Batman’s next plane than something you’d see on the way to the mall.

The V12 engine will hit 650 hp, and the car will undoubtedly make it to every pre-teen desktop background in the world. The instrument cluster looks remarkably similar to that of Knight Rider’s KITT, and the wheels feature non-functional carbon fiber swatches on each of the spokes.

Lamborghini said today that the Reventon is the most expensive and exclusive car the company has ever created. Without question, it stays true to the company’s design philosophy—extreme, uncompromising and undeniably Italian. The Reventon’s unveiling also show Lamborghini keeping true to its new promise of introducing a new car annually.
